Make-up Policies

Planned Absences
Teachers are required to notify the school at least two weeks in advance of any planned absences. All planned absences will be communicated to families by the school. Teachers are responsible for scheduling and offering at least one make-up date for any planned absences within the same installment period.

Unplanned Absences / Emergencies
In the case of an unplanned absence (such as illness or emergency), the teacher is responsible for arranging a make-up lesson with the family, ideally within two weeks of the missed lesson.

Family Responsiveness
If families do not respond to two or more make-up scheduling attempts or are unable to schedule within the offered timeframe, the missed lesson will be forfeited and no credit can be issued.
