This summer, each young architect will design and construct a unique contribution to a whimsical County Fair, Carnival, and Circus world — all connected by a 35-foot river running right through the landscape.
Working collaboratively, campers will help bring this imaginative universe to life. Creations may include wild amusement park rides, circus wagons, haunted houses, art installations, show animals, agricultural displays, musical venues, futuristic inventions, and more. As the river winds through it all, campers will explore how individual ideas connect to form one shared, immersive environment.
Throughout the camp, students will engage in hands-on building while learning about architecture, design, storytelling, science, and engineering. Campers will experiment, problem-solve, and create at both individual and group levels. The experience culminates in a Grand Tour of the completed river landscape, where parents and friends are invited to explore the collaborative masterpiece.
