Discover the joy of knitting in this calm, creative, and confidence-building camp! In Knitting & Cozy Creations, students will learn the basics of knitting while exploring texture, pattern, and color through hands-on projects they’ll be proud to take home. This camp is perfect for beginners and budding fiber artists alike.
Campers will learn foundational skills such as holding needles, casting on, making simple stitches, and managing yarn before progressing into fun, approachable projects like small scarves, coasters, bookmarks, and headbands. Students will also learn how to read simple patterns, fix mistakes, and choose materials that inspire them.
With patient guidance, supportive instruction, and plenty of time to practice, campers will build fine motor skills, perseverance, and artistic expression in a peaceful, collaborative environment. Perfect for makers who love cozy crafts, quiet creativity, and learning a skill they can enjoy for years to come!
Time: 9:00am–12:00pm
Lunch: Not included
If your camper would like to stay for the full day, please add Lunch + All-Day Camp at registration. This will add lunch and extend their day until 3:30pm with supervised play, activities, and themed camp fun.
