Lights, camera, creativity! In Film & Animation Studio, students will step into the roles of directors, animators, actors, and storytellers as they learn the magic behind bringing ideas to life on screen. This hands-on camp blends imagination, technology, and teamwork to give young filmmakers a fun, engaging introduction to movie-making.
Campers will explore the full creative process: brainstorming ideas, writing simple scripts, designing storyboards, building characters, and filming short scenes. They’ll experiment with stop-motion animation using clay, paper cutouts, LEGO, or small props, learning how to capture smooth, frame-by-frame movement. Students will also practice basic editing skills to add sound, music, titles, and transitions to their creations.
With guidance from an experienced instructor, campers will strengthen collaboration skills, practice problem-solving, and grow as visual storytellers while discovering how movies and animations come together. Each camper will contribute to at least one group film and create their own mini animation to share.
Perfect for creative thinkers who love stories, drawing, acting, building, or exploring technology in playful and imaginative ways!
