Cello Lessons with Sigrid Anderson-Kwun

In this class, students are challenged to do their finest musical work in a relaxed, supportive atmosphere. Students will learn the fundamentals of playing cello and beginning music theory. However, these are not the only concepts that are needed to be a musician. Other concepts will be covered such as proper posture, productive practicing techniques, reading notated music, various bow strokes, scales and exercises, and learning repertoire. Students are encouraged to ask questions to further their knowledge of music and are expected to practice outside of class times. A parenting adult should attend class with the student.
